We'll see...I obviously don't understand how the owners really feel about this. But I know Dean Spanos and Stan Kronke are more than likely voting no :lol

Life safety issues?! LOL WHAT? All I've known is the Coliseum and never had any issues in that place. We'll see what the owners say. If it's approved, we'll then, I'll just have an exscuse to go to Vegas a few times a year. I'll feel bad for the team tho...

Lol if there's really life issues then why don't they evacuate asap. Why play 2 more seasons there?

What a load of ****. I get that you're bouncing, but do y'all really need to **** on Oakland like this?

NFL is just trying to save face...

Coliseum is not up to standard. Oakland doesn't want to help. They've "tried" to get something done in Oakland.

All are BS. They're following the free money, I don't like it but I get it. They should just say that and be done with it.

What I don't get is this:

$650M from BofA.
$250M from MD
$250M from NFL
$350M relocation fee.

All that is enough for a stadium in Oakland.

Crazy to see players like Rivera and Murray go...not too long ago we would max players like that out :lol

It's not a great venue but I don't ask much from a stadium. I don't live there, I'm just there to watch a game. Only thing I wish was better was traffic into the bathrooms.

Yeah it's trash, but it's our trash :lol

I don't have any issue with the stadium. They can play there another 60 years with light renovation for all I care.

But I think it's less than about money and more about ego for MD and Oakland at this point...more so MD imo.

No. You say that like this is first contact. The city submitted a reasonable term sheet in December.

For years Goodell has said publicly he wants to keep the Raiders in Oakland, then an NFL "rep" is quoted in the press saying some foul **** about the city, and the cycle continues.

This is entirely on the NFL, it's oligarchy, and corporate greed. The reality of elected officials feeling obligated to serve their tax paying constituency and not bend over for a handful of blood sucking billonaires might have something to do with it too.
