It's not an open wound anymore.
But it definitely is still a mental scar.

I would post more, but I can't listen to the games online, so I only get 30 second highlights a couple hours after the fact. Will definitely be following the game on Twitter tonight though.Quote:Wish yall were around this thread more
also are all those shoes in your googledoc for sale??
Smh great team what a team they are.. Bobby jackson and doug christie are still my favorite kings..I stopped posting regularly when the Lakers beat the Kings in the 2002 WCF. It was (is) too heartbreaking.
Did you listen to the interview w/ Vlade yesterday? I don't think I really realized how special him and that team were at the time. I think some of us just took it for granted that we were finally over the hump of being a city with great fans and a perpetually bad team.NBA meetings have begun.
Mitch Richmond will be at the game tonight
I did! Vlade's english is still as terrible as possibleDid you listen to the interview w/ Vlade yesterday? I don't think I really realized how special him and that team were at the time. Just caught up with the last 5 videos. If that doesn't get you fired up, I don't know what will.this is actually a pretty cool video
Like I've said for a while now...... this will end with the Kings staying and Seattle getting that expansion
Spurs owners Peter Holt: expansion "not off the table." Says league "not even close" to decision on #NBAKings
— Ryan Lillis (@Ryan_Lillis) April 17, 2013which is why I think they are postponing this thing so much....Stern once again said expansion is not being discussed at the time

but jeez I just want this to end already
David Stern said decision likely 3 weeks away.Said Sacramento group is willing to put down a down payment
— Bryan May (@BMayNews10) April 17, 2013
Stern: Sacramento group willing to put down payment on #NBAKings. Says league owners have much deliberating left.

this is turning into some sort of Dancing with the Stars type of cluster ****I love it!
I think from all the unnamed sourced rumors/info that has been leaked out this far, the only thing we can for sure take away from this is that its not the railroaded, breakaway slam dunk that the national media and Seattle people were led to believe.Stern also said both sides will get one more chance to address owners before final vote.

wow maybe Matt Barnes isn't a douche bag after all
Ready for the last reg season game, season flew by.. Hoping this isn't the last time I get 2 come HOME & play the Kings. #KeepTheKingsInSac

@blykmyk44 @panthiesba Maybe negotiations still happening but Maloofs can't be party to contract w/SAC without breaching/exiting Hansen deal

David Stern is bending over backwards to help Sacramento. If they lose their team, thats on them. Nobody else to blame at this point

Stern/committee concerns: "financing, real estate, challenges, environmental reviews, lawsuits." #NBASeattle #nbakings

dopeBrad Miller in the Maloof courtside seats. Talked to him before the game - he said it was important that he brought his daughter #NBAKings

it was only $100 each! Not terrible.Whoa. That must've cost a pretty penny.
