If you pay $200 for some shoes they shouldn't look like this and you shouldn't have to use an exacto knife to clean them up. I'd send them a pic and hope for the best.
At some point JB/Nike has to be responsible for their quality not us. I'd be pissed

Sending pics to Nike won't make a bit of a difference...I don't even think an exacto knife or razor will help those, I think they are SHOT...Ill take them off your hands for whatever you paid, and toss in 20 extra dollars for emotional comfort...

It's not that bad, just carefully cut it off. Be glad you got a pair from FNL. That's where my pairs are coming from.
