@$## I can't believe I missed this!! Some dude in this thread earlier said they weren't streaming Kanye so I didn't bother checking the thread FML

Ive got vids and some pics from the kanye show and whole weekend (ill try to upload later). Camped out in front of the cherry picker thing from 11:45am till his set began. Well worth the wait. Best way to close an already incredible weekend. (slight side note: were them yeezy 2's he had on at the end?! I yelled out "Kanye give me your shoes!!" more than a hand full of times last night)
best performances I saw, in no particular order: Kanye, DFA 1979 (first time hearing them, was impressed), Robyn (no ayo), Lauryn, Badu, Sleigh Bells, Duran Duran, Strokes, Lil B (odd future hopping on stage was nuts, the mosh pit was even crazier), skrillex, Magnetic Man, the twelves, and this one cat in the Do Lab whose name i didnt catch, but son was killin it.
Only thing i hated was the fact that the shuttle i took didnt get me there in time to catch miguel or ryan leslie's sets, was low key looking forward to seeing them live.
Beautiful women EVERYWHERE, and for most not a single damn was given about how much skin they were willing to show
Met some amazing folks out there, no drama, no bs...it was really an amazing weekend.

my crew was bananas with trying to see every damn artists set so I was running around the polo fields like i was trying to get some cardio in. If you saw a dude wearing that Burning Rubber let that boy cook tee that was me.

Hope this wasnt me...and if it was, I sincerely apologize. But for the record, Kanye's timeslot was at 10:30, and up until about 8:30 the broadcast schedule said TBA. Glad you got to watch it though bro.

Amazing amazing amazing weekend. I am still trying to comprehend what happened and how many good bands I saw in that short of span. I will definitely return next year.
Stayed in Palm Springs and it worked out wonderfully. If anything, I would stay in Palm Desert next year just to be closer.
Three complaints:
1. Too many high schoolers that didn't know any of the music, really just there to get high
2. No lighting in and around any of the beer tents
3. Designated drinking areas were a pain

Amazing amazing amazing weekend. I am still trying to comprehend what happened and how many good bands I saw in that short of span. I will definitely return next year.

Can Kanye hang with them in a sense..........SURE. Is he a once in a lifetime/generation artist which was claimed earlier............HELL NO. See the diffference between the two. John Lennon is a once in a generation artist, Michael Jackson is a once in a generation artist, Prince is a once in a generation artist............Kanye West on the other hand is okay overall at what he does and I'll just leave it at that.

Let me help YOU out champ. Only thing worse than being wrong is being loud and wrong........but since you honestly feel that no one is a better musician in hip hop I'll just allow you to walk down that wrong path since you want to. Can't help somone that doesn't want to be helped.
