These idiots don't seem to understand that protest by its definition is uncomfortable. Rosa Parks, John Lewis, Ralph Abernathy, etc are heroes today and held up as the example of how people should act in protest but they did things that were uncomfortable and that made the masses uncomfortable. People act like folks back then were thrilled when Rosa Parks started the bus boycott or when SNNC organized the lunch counter sit ins.
Hell Rosa went to jail.
The people complaining now about Colin sitting probably would have took issue with Rosa not moving
God forbid a black person make white people feel uncomfortable about their own history
they prob still call her those namesThey would call her a race baitor, a Thug, the N word online and her arrest would dovetail into a discussion about black on black crime and Chicago.

"I respect her right to protest but she could protest in a different way. Making people late for dinner is not right. Perhaps she could've written a strongly worded letter to the bus company."
I was having drinks with 2 homies recently: one white dude and one Dominican dudeWhite homie at worked was like, "he should protest in a different way""I respect her right to protest but she could protest in a different way. Making people late for dinner is not right. Perhaps she could've written a strongly worded letter to the bus company."
But then conceded that he can't think of a better way.
They just can't understand the struggle.
Such a foreign concept to them.

I stopped watching tv years ago and do not really follow nfl at all so when did Colin become trash exactly, lose his starting position n why?
I'm not sure how genuine dude is being with all this but it's def not gonna change how they treat black people.
It's a very delicate situation but most often the change will have to come in the form of taking matters in your own hands approach. It's like the hard head analogy where some people just don't get it until it gets knocked into them.
:x
And people are still gonna stick their heads in da sand regardless
