You would think that once you start making millions upon millions, your guard would go up.  If you look around the entertainment/sports field, how many times do you look at some of these dudes and wonder how they pull the girls that they do?  Is it personality??? No.  Is it "swag?" No.  It's $$$$.  On a side note, NT is funny sometimes...they're quick to harp on the athletes/entertainers who date/marry HS sweethearts etc, but will give unlimited props to a dude like Kanye for dating a stripper.  Back on subject...as we all know...men are WEAK around women.  That's why we see countless dudes getting taken to the courts and losing some of their hard earned money because they made bad decisions about who to marry, when to have kids, etc.  And I am in NO WAY defending Woods, because I think he's a herb.

It is pretty crazy how much golfers earn.  Comparing back to the days of Palmer and Nicklaus to now, you have people who win less than 10 tournaments with higher career earnings than people who won 50+ 30-40 years ago.  Not sure about adjustment for inflation, but purses are just so much more gigantic now.  Anyway, I still have a lot of respect for his golf game because of how damn dominant he was for such a long time.  He needs a little while to get back into form, but when he gets there I'm sure over the rest of his golf career he can recoup all the money he lost in the settlement.
I would love to be a professional golfer, even if I only made the cut every tournament and finished last.  77th place, $11,160.  69th place, $19,000.  82nd at the US Open $11,707.  I just need to play 2 really strong days of golf going into the weekend, and I can live comfortably as long as I maintain my tour card.  Not sure what it costs to get into the tournaments, but I know that it isn't cheap as an amateur to try to make it in the professional ranks.
