In the books.
CorrectSo? All these characters are based on the books why would be ridiculous on film?
It's no more ridiculous than a man building an iron suit or his colleague having him kidnapped.
Lex having government contract and owning a bunch of businesses and building in Metropolis and one of the richest and smartest man in the world can't have access to an alien body?
He could easily own Star Labs who the government have the alien body experimented on or the government could just contract LexCorp to do it themselves.
Not really sure what makes it ridiculous as if it is out of the realms of possibility in these films.
Ridiculous as well, but haven't they been running with that forever?Lex having access to an alien body isn't really ridiculous. What's really ridiculous is an alien growing up in a farm and uses his godlike powers to be a reporter and the only difference between his alter egos are glasses.
If you choose to buy the latter you should be able to buy the former.

Believe what you believe, I believe what I believe. Stop getting butthurt everytime I say something about this film you don't like. Notice how I don't care about your uber-optimism about this film, yet you seem to rise up on every opportunity when I mention something I don't like.Explain why?
Seriously, out of all the comic book fans and those who posts and watches all these films you have the worst imagination ever. You always question all the reports even the ones that are easy to explain like why Bats would have more than one vehicle.
I'd call it immediate DC hate but then you'd just refute that with some ridiculous excuse.
I even explain possible ways he could easily do it and it is very believable in that world yet you still find it ridiculous.
Ya'll making it seem like I said that will absolutely ruin the filmYea, it's really weird to get hung up on a random detail like that, that's not even far - fetched lol
And Lex getting alien DNA and specifically the bodies of dead or living kryptonians has been a plot for Superman stories forever.Ridiculous as well, but haven't they been running with that forever?Lex having access to an alien body isn't really ridiculous. I don't see how it's hate. I didn't even hate the first film. Just meh. Since this bothers you so much, I'll drop it.No one is butthurt here, it just baffles me how deep the hate is and how blinded you are by it.
I mean it is a minute/small detail yet you find it ridiculous? You can't see a reason how he could do it? Even after example from the books it is still ridiculous? You can't see it translating to films?
And if I rise up every time someone says something stupid about DC then I'd be here posting every minute but when the most ridiculous thing comes up like questioning a minute detail, it makes me wonder how someone could not understand it outside of utter hate for the brand.
Again you question every little detail that it really is just laughable to not even admit the hate for the brand/film already. I can understand not trusting Gadots acting or the casting, whatever but for a small detail that isn't far fetch at all and calling it ridiculous?
Why don't you get over it and stop complaining about the film? You aren't even critiquing just to critique, you are just picking it apart for no apparent reason and are blinded to explanations. I mean if you aren't going to read or take any answers to why something you find ridiculous might work then why bother posting in the thread? Again, you couldn't understand why Batman would use more than one vehicle in the film, you are questions the number of vehicles Batman would use. Seriously?
Fair enough. And Lex getting alien DNA and specifically the bodies of dead or living kryptonians has been a plot for Superman stories forever.
Can't judge a story when you read some plot points about it out of context.
Just to argue against my own point I will say it varies. And Lex getting alien DNA and specifically the bodies of dead or living kryptonians has been a plot for Superman stories forever.

I mean it's cool. Since I'm being painted as the hate DC guy already, I'll just go with whatever is given. If it happened in the books, cool. I'm wrong then.Just to argue against my own point I will say it varies.
If it was a plot point like Lex Luthor gets outsmarted by Jimmy Olsen then feel free to **** all over it.
Its been done in Books and TV...I mean it's cool. Since I'm being painted as the hate DC guy already, I'll just go with whatever is given. If it happened in the books, cool. I'm wrong then.Just to argue against my own point I will say it varies.
