If they were smart they were already going to fire Snyder but him departing is totally a victim of circumstance due to those unfortunate events.
In connection, since those Snyder movies were so bad that already said up the reasoning for Ben to bail. His divorce, cheating with a new chick, and alleged alcoholism are just good reasons to use for why he went from directing and starring in a film to just starring, to having to reassure fans he's even going to be in the movie.
With Whedon, they rejected his WW script. That's their choice. I'm not aware of him bailing on Batgirl yet. Same for Jenkins. I read the opposite with her, didn't she just officially sign on for the WW sequel?
Another face that should be put up is Ayer. He was making good non-superhero movies and then made SS. If he's not directing GCS or if its not happening well w/e. I still don't feel like Johns and the other guy have the tightest control over the DCEU as of yet and are still in the transition of establishing themselves and how they want their cinematic universe to be.

This would be really dumb..
1) I'm not sure gal is a good enough actress to pull off what is needed from WW in this
2) you have a likeable character that is supposed to be a role model for women and empowering, not exactly doing that through the character's role in flashpoint
3) like with batman vs superman, you kinda want to establish some things with the characters before you go down this road.. get to know them, know what they stand for.. know their personalities.. and for some, when they show up in different get ups you don't have to be a huge fan to know what that really is

You guys are assuming Flashpoint will be exactly like the comic/animated movie.
BvS was suppose to be a mix of Dark Knight Returns and Death of Superman and it was very loosely based on those at best.
I do wanna see WW and Mera go at it tho

Did they go at it in the story?
I mean I know mera got, got.. but they are at war as a result of that and during flashpoint.. dont remember them actually going that far back and showing what went down
