I love Gal but she is hosting SNL and I am not sure that is going to turn out well for her. She can barely get the correct words out with her accent in that short bit.

She can barely act . But I think she'll be ok on that show. Haven't been watching although folks say it's picked up with last season

I wouldn't say she can barely act, she did well in WW but I wouldn't be surprised if it took her a couple of reshoots for each of the dialogue heavy scenes so a live show with little rehearsals where she has to do multiple skits and reading from an off camera card doesn't sound like something she would excel at.

I think they have various level of screenings for every film especially the upcoming bug budget ones.

Most are studio employees though and that's why we don't always hear about it, not always for the public or critics.

I hear of screenings for Marvel films here and there too like GotG2.

There appears to be sweeping changes going on behind the scenes of the DCEU. Reports that Jesse Eisenberg's turn as Lex Luthor in Justice League first surfaced last month and were later confirmed by leaks from a recent test screening by WB. Now, that same test screening has resulted in a second leak hitting the net, that Kiersey Clemons' Iris West has also been cut from the film.

Didn't they have early screening for BvS and apparently they had standing ovations? I happen to be one of the few that likes BvS, but I know I wouldn't stand and clap for it

He was one of the only good parts in the GL film.

He should really get the come-up and play Lex though.

Aronofsky could direct an elseworld Supes film, something like Red Son so he maybe he can get his version of Bats in a film since he wasn't able to do year One.

While chatting to CinePop about his latest film, Aronofsky was asked if he still has any interest in "presenting a unique vision" of the superhero genre:

"I mean, you know, Superman would always be interesting. But they’re already deep into reinventing him, so that’s not going to happen for a long time."

Aronofsky also acknowledges that these types of movies usually aim to find the widest audience possible, which means it might be difficult for him to get away with doing anything radically different with the character.
