The thing is Snyder was the guy chosen to shape the vision of the entire DC movie universe all cuz he was the only guy willing to do a Superman movie that would eventually be a part of a shared cinematic universe. It's still DC. People will find something.
@ 6:24 - 20:25 . . . Not a huge fan of the CW-DC but they might have a point about Berlanti
Hey Feige produced the first two Thor movies and IM3.he also did Green Lantern...

That choice was problematic.
Since then, they've been like a chicken running around with its head cut off. There were several who is in charge changes, demotions and promotions.
I can't tell you the name of the one person shaping the universe going forward or anyone with a plan. I knew about the plans when Snyder was involved heavily but now everything is murky. Clearly aint no pt. 2 of JL coming, Flash got a director?, JL Dark? I just know Aquaman and WW2 coming. Oh and SS2 or w/e poorly conceived spinoffs.
If Ayer makes another bad DC movie he'll probably get more criticism.
DC is kinda like Sony now. You're not quite sure who is in charge but you're not loving it. Just a general disgust and you say Sony.
I've been reading the reports in here but its a bunch of names I don't recognize. Plus when I do get familiar with someone or like their work they leaveFlashpoint has two directors. They were writers on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Walter Hamada from New Line is the new president of DC Films. Geoff Johns is now an advisor. They're bringing people from their successful horror division who did stuff like The Conjuring franchise and It. It's all been posted before in this thread. I'm trying to inform people that don't follow DC.
JL2 can chill. Flashpoint and Batman have scripts and directors. They're further along than people realize. It's just that there's no tabloids or controversy. Wonder Woman 2 is in pre-pro. Suicide Squad 2 cast is already working out for it. I think Margot and O'Connor were supposed to meet a little while ago. Shazam is filming right now. There is a vision. They obviously want to have good villains for a Legion of Doom. They've already got Black Manta, Dr. Sivana, Black Adam, and Deathstroke. I think a LOD movie would be kind of wavy.
Honestly, DC being quiet is better than the rumors and controversy from before. Just waiting on the inevitable Shazam costume reveal and the Aquaman teaser. These studios also love to wait for big conventions or trade shows to give out big information.
Good riddens!!

Joss Whedon Exits 'Batgirl' Movie (Exclusive)
Joss Whedon is saying goodbye to DC Entertainment heroine Batgirl.
Whedon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer among other pop culture touchstones, is exiting the Warner Bros. feature project which he was writing and slated to direct.
“Batgirl is such an exciting project, and Warners/DC such collaborative and supportive partners, that it took me months to realize I really didn’t have a story,” Whedon told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. Referring to DC president Geoff Johns and Warners Picture Group president Toby Emmerich, Whedon added, “I’m grateful to Geoff and Toby and everyone who was so welcoming when I arrived, and so understanding when I… uh, is there a sexier word for ‘failed’?”
Whedon came on to Batgirl almost a year ago, in March 2017, with the hopes of bringing to the big-screen a companion to the female empowerment icon, Wonder Woman, this one tied to the most popular character in comics, Batman. Batgirl is Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon.
But sources say that Whedon, after a year of trying, could not crack the code of what a Batgirl movie should be. Wonder Woman, in the meanwhile, became a cultural phenomenon as well as one of the biggest hits and most acclaimed movies of 2017.
Industry sources add that even as Whedon faced story issues, in today’s cultural entertainment environment, a male filmmaker may have faced greater public scrutiny if he were to have tackled a movie with such feminist importance such as Batgirl or Wonder Woman, much like a white filmmaker would have seen backlash if they were to take on the Black Panther movie.
Whedon has been credited as a pioneering voice for female-focused genre fare, having created the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer two decades ago.
And he has a strong relationship with Warners having been brought into the company’s DC fold to take over last year’s Justice League when director Zack Snyder was sidelined due to a family tragedy.
Whedon will face no shortage of suitors as Netflix, Apple and others will likely vie for the next creation from the writer-director behind cult TV series such as Firefly and Dollhouse.
