At this point in the zeitgeist though, I don't think many are interested in exploring Bruce Wayne the man that became the bat. That ship has kinda sailed. They'll just skip to the part where he's basically Batman all the time with costume on or off.

I don't remember/haven't kept up with what plans are official and which are not.
Last I recall, they had rolled out the movies they plan to make (Cyborg, WW, Flash, JL, etc.) omitting Suerman sequels and the first Batman movie in this shared universe but specifically said that there will be Superman and Batman solo movies it just wasn't apart of that announcement.
If that changed I forgot or missed it. 2017 would be good. Now just say Battfleck is directing and has one of his screenwriters doing the movie and Goyer and Snyder don't have anything to do with it.

Yeah Goyer needs to go. After dude wrote the Ghost Rider sequel, I gave up on him. He seems to only be decent when someone else checks his work.

Employing children to fight crime with you is ridiculous. My suspension of disbelief could never bend that way. Especially with the excuses that it keeps Bats from going too far. Why he got a butler for then? Only got worse when Miller (and Moore's work) revamped his whole image and changed how he was approached but still kept them around which just led to them killing the sidekicks or crippling them.
Plus I just never liked any of them.
Robins don't hang out with bats. The ****?!
