Zach said that that was the only time that extra scene was going to be seen until the movie comes out. He wasn't kidding though, they had security watching us to make sure that no one was filming the screen. But trust me, that scene will get leaked!

I went to the showing too, pretty cool and seeing it on IMAX is just great especially those shot with the IMAX camera, towards the end where Bats & Supes faces off.
The extra scene was cool but it was so short that I think it is just asking for trouble to hype it up. Once it leaks, people are going to be "that's it!?", "What a waste, didn't eem see nutin!", "that sucked!", etc...
I do wish Supes and Bats at least fought or traded some blows for a few seconds but that's the fanboy in me wanting to see more. It was a nice addition and Snyder said it will never appear in any teasers or trailers and just for the IMAX viewing so most might not see it until the movie comes out in HD unless of course it leaks in HD.

First off, I just hope this is at least partially true and not just some bull **** WB threw out there to not make it look like they don't know what they're doing.
I can't really knock or commend them for this if true. On one hand, I think we all agree WW should get an epic type movie. Her origins and lore pretty much demand it. In many ways you can frame as more of a warrior than superhero (as long as Gadot can pull it off). On the other hand, something more character focused shows their priorities and that they really want to build up the character of this hero throughout the movie with what I'd assume is really good writing (again as long as Gadot can pull that off). So it's an even trade off given I doubt they could merge the two or think they couldn't if they feel McLaren's vision was that opposite theirs.

Come on now, Thor was hitting IM around with Mjolnir and hitting him straight on the helmet with his fist, Thor even hit Caps shield with a thunderous hammer with all his might that was so strong that it knocked the forest in it's vicinity clear and it left Steve unharmed.

Like I said I can't knock or commend the move.
Stepping back and looking at it though, an epic movie and character driven one are not mutually exclusive and shouldn't be seen as such. Unless WB is about to give us a WW movie so character focused it won't even qualify as an action movie since it'll have no room for epicness
I mean Whedon is known for his character driven work but he gave us Avengers and all signs point to AOU being even more epic. Same go for the Russo Bros. delivering with TWS.
From a serious business take, that scene doesn't even make sense. Supes is fast enough to run around the world a few times before Bats slow *** even reaches him in that armor.

Superman is probably the hardest person to write a fighting scene for..
Just way too powerful.
It'll be even worse because I think they fully intend for him to draw or lose to Bats. I just don't know how that can be without kryptonite involved.
