W/e though. Maybe he's not Stewart but the pink/purple GL that dies and his ring goes to another person. I can't get in to a 60 yr old actor not doing multiple sequels.
WB/DC better make the next GL John Stewart though and for good measure make Martian Manhunter a minority, maybe even a female.

This is starting to feel like a clusterf*ck.
It would be cool if they make this a Superman vs JL film. All of them go against Supes for destroying Metropolis. well try to talk to him and things escalate to fighting until a bigger threat comes and Supes joins up or they join up with Supes? I'd just like to see Supes versus the JL I guess.

The amount of A-listers in this movie will be inversely proportional to how good the movie actually becomes.
Also, in the past 2 weeks, I've rewatched MoS about 3 times and honestly, it isn't a bad movie at all.
I think folks, myself included, initially judged the movie based off some unreal expectations. For the first movie in the series, it was good. From here on out, however, it's fair to expect better.

I do feel MoS got a backlash from the Reeves film, everyone looked for a Reeves adaptation in the film and was severely disappointed that his portrayal wasn't there. Most also seem to want an established Superman already when it is in fact an origins story where he pretty much starts out with a blank slate and still has to learn everything.
I think it is a more fleshed out version but not as well written/told version Batman Begins.

At this point I'm hoping stuff like this will just be drowned out closer to release date on some remember Denzel was rumored to be GL? Nah not really.
Nah not really.Yeah I've read elsewhere ppl are wondering if this is really a JL movie in disguise but they head lined it with their two most popular and bankable characters.

None of that has been revealed yet. We've heard rumors about Luthor and Doomsday and I think one about Darkseid, nothing else. 2 of those 3 are just repeating an alien invasion though so again it'll all be about execution if it is one of those 3.

yeah, this movie seems to be turning from MoS2 into a full JL origins movie. Just waiting on Reynolds to confirm he's coming back as GL any day now.

Eh, it's better than Denzel but I don't think it's a great fit if it's GL.
Some props at least since I know both Marvel and DC were looking to land The Rock (I recall Feige saying he loves him going back to wrestling and it'd all come down to finding the right role/fit for him and they're clearly taking their time with phase 3 going off other reports) and it seems DC won a big growing action star.

They were playing one of the Fast movies in the gym this morning. The Rock's arm is bigger than Gal's whole body . His arm looks like a horse leg. I'll reserve judgement but it looked off.
