I read the same thing over the weekend but it is mostly just a guess on that guys part, he has no sources at all, so I didn't bother posting it because people will simply go nuts and take them as facts already.

The Rock I think posted this pick and tweeted he was interested.Remember that fan made Luke Cage poster though? Marvel should have taken him when they had the chance.

So this means Supes can't bang WW cuz they're like 422nd cousinsEh it's all rumors but come to think of it, they did have that pre-MoS comic where Kara arrived on Earth a long time before Kal did and the ship he found was hers. Maybe that's where teh guy got the idea that WW will be a Kryptonian descendant from Karas bloodline?
Probably. Guess it's Terry Crews for Power Man.Rock has commented on wanting to be Luke Cage but that was pretty much it. I think Marvels plan was a TV show from the get go and Marvel/Disney probably felt the Rock is too expensive for a Netflix TV deal.
I am probably one of the few people i've seen on NT that enjoyed MOS and the different approach it took to Supes origin (did not like Lois knowing his identity and Jimmy being a girl tho) But if they make WW a decent of Kyrpton....

I loved MOS, I still don't understand the lames that miss the 1978 version of Superman, yet then turn around and complain about Clark merely donning a pair of glasses as his "disguise".
People were just going to complain no matter what. Regardless of the fact that everything in this movie was upgraded over any Superman movie, ever.
Nah ppl like Reeves Superman for what it was. If you're gonna say MOS is vastly superior you can't have something as lame and unconvincing as a pair of glasses being his disguise especially in the manner they introduced it and tried to slip it in like yeah that's normal. It completely breaks the suspension of disbelief. Like why is that a disguise yet Lois is somehow able to discern the two are one in the same? Does all it take is to know Clark is Superman so that the glasses disguise doesn't work? :xI am probably one of the few people i've seen on NT that enjoyed MOS and the different approach it took to Supes origin (did not like Lois knowing his identity and Jimmy being a girl tho) But if they make WW a decent of Kyrpton....

"I was so happy that they made another Superman movie! I'm really reluctant to be critical of it in any way. But I thought the glossing over of the figuring out a secret identity and why he felt he needed one was a huge missed opportunity for that character, and one of the most interesting things about Superman is the whole secret identity. So to me it was too much action / violence and not enough character study."

Going off what Jerry said it reminds me of what Bill said of Superman's secret id being Clark Kent in Kill Bill 2. Definitely a missed opportunity.I still think many people were looking for a Reeves like Superman.
Seinfeld, which is a big Superman fanboy had this to say about MoS recently.

I thought it was pretty clear that the secret identity wasn't the main focus as in the end he was barely putting on the glasses and being the Clark Kent we all knew from the 70's. I believe they will explore that further in the sequel but we shall see.I agree that the character could have been developed and presented well but for an origins film, it was pretty good especially if you do not come expecting to see Reeves or a bumbling Clark Kent that is already working in the Daily Planet.
No. Not at all. That **** can happen in real life.Aliens in our backyard battling it out doesn't suspend your disbelief enough from the word go?
But using something from the 75 year lore of Superman (glasses disguise) turns off your suspension of disbelief?
Has Bryan Cranston Been Confirmed For 'Lex Luthor' In MAN OF STEEL 2
But, now AMC offshoot podcast Team Amasian are claiming that they've 100% confirmed that Cranston will play the villain in the Batman Vs. Superman themed sequel to Man Of Steel. The ladies say they can't reveal their sources, but the same ones also claim that Ben Affleck will sport an Alex Ross inspired Batman costume in the movie. They definitely seem pretty certain it's a done deal, but of course until it's OFFICIALLY a done deal we'll have to take it as rumor. Also, it's worth noting that AMC's John Campea took to Twitter last week claiming a couple of "untested sources" revealed to him that Cranston would play Luthor.
Cranston as Luthor has always been one of the rumors I actually wanted to happen
