I respect the honesty. I'm still planning to see this next week, but I'm in no rush for the time to come.

I just read that Zack Snyder wants to adapt the Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead"

Suddenly everything makes sense. :x :x :x :x :x :x

His next superhero won’t be a weak-willed socialist like Superman who wastes his time helping regular people who are too stupid to help themselves, though. He’ll be a proper, square-jawed tough guy who doesn’t give a damn about anything but enormous phallic metaphors and his own indisputable greatness.

If that all sounds a little Ayn Rand-y, it’s because that’s exactly what it is. In his downtime, Snyder has apparently been working on a new movie version of The Fountainhead, Rand’s heartwarming ode to how some people are simply better than others (and also that non-consensual sex is sometimes okay). Snyder says that the book is “a thesis on the creative process and what it is to create something,

I HATE ZACK ******* SNYDER.

Sidenote:

I was surprised how many people are actually into the Superman or Batman. The whole hood packed up the theater last night. Some came in costume. Full fledged Superman outfits, Batman outfits, Women dressing like they were going to the club. One woman was dressed like a hooker on the corner of Vegas

Wonder Woman was received great with the audience last night. Everybody applauded once she came out for the battle. I guess she saved the movie.

Other than that, random people were laughing at the ending.

Honestly, I feel like Batman and Superman are the top two most popular comicbook characters in the world. I'd put Spider-Man at #3 after that.

rfx45 rfx45 , when is the next Superman solo? I'm actually excited to a MoS Returns movie.

This single panel pretty encapsulates everything Superman is about and everything Zach Snyder got wrong.

If a single executive liked Superman at all, they would never let this happen. :smh: :smh:

I tried to erase Man of Steel from my memory. But this brought it all back. I'm sick, Help me bruhs.:x :x

So if I don't care about Superman and don't expect anything enjoyable from his storyline will I like the movie?

I keep forgetting this is a Superman movie. Are people mostly bothered by this rendition of Superman?

The superman stuff is his greatest sin but

he also messes up Batman as well, I won't spoil it, but as far as I can tell Batman is in the streets murdering people and using guns.

also the ending doesn't make sense.

and Lex becomes EXTREMELY annoying by the end.

I'll never forgive him if he ***** up Batman.

I'm about to head out to see this soon. Will be back in a few hours.:\

I had no problems with Batman's depiction.

Superman was mostly in the cut this time around. But the idea of him being a symbol of hope rings true.

Its basically a 14 year old interpretation of what makes Batman cool.

remove all nuance and turn him into murdering bat costumed psychopath. basically super rich punisher.

Reaching in this film? You serious. Had some really dumb moments.

Scenes were so short in the beginning it went from Bruce to Clark to senator to lex in a matter of minutes. Nothing was really built up.

How did lex know who supes mom was?

Why couldn't Supes save his mom in like 10 seconds instead of batman? (Which that was my favorite bat scene)

JL people so forces. Especially AM dude was just staring at the camera

How did Lex even know that Bats had the tech to go toe to toe with Supes?

Hates him for 18 months and now there mom has the same name and it's all good?

Lex being able to get into the ship kind of with ease and knowing how to make doomsday?

Bats killing? That horrible. Now it's like, "why didn't he just kill his enemies" (if they're even alive)

Superman had to sacrifice himself? WW couldn't have impale dooms with the spear instead?

Superman being ok with Bats killing?

I liked his training. That was dope. The BvS fight scene. But only one fight scene? Cmon. It was hardly BvS.

Batmobile was gangster. Alfred was a G. I liked Lois. I actually liked lex too.

Have to watch it again to get more of a feel for it.

What Zack Snyder doesn't understand about Dark Knight Returns its a story about the END of Batman.

You can't start a DCU movie with the final stage of Batman.

It's like making a movie about the Roman empire right before it falls apart.

Apparently some of yall have never seen a batman movie. Because this ain't the first time he took a life

I going to take a stab and say the people our age into comics at that time were complaining too. As a kid, I didn't care. Now I do but I reserve judgment until I see the movie

I think it's officially supposed to be MoS2.

It was originally supposed to be MoS2 but it really is just the bridge between MoS and JL.

I think one good thing about Supes that comes with this movie is that Snyder will probably be off the MoS sequel if it ever happens.

The bad news is he will do JL1 and JL2. I do agree with someone before that maybe Snyder is better off as a cinematographer or just the fight coordinator, like another director does everything else then when mayhem is needed they just summon Snyder and said "go do your thing".

At least from I remember, I don't recall anyone complaining that Keaton's batman killed in those 2 movies.

You cant make a film that supposed to be about the roman empire and set it after the Visigoths sack rome.

I was very young when that movie came out but I am not sure the outrage was the same, it really is Nolans trilogy that highlighted that mantra and is pretty much the key role in all 3 films especially in TDK. Those stood out in peoples mind because it was the best Batman films ever made to date.
