No. In all my years of listening to those two bands, I've never once thought Scott Weiland sounded like Kurt Cobain. If you'd said Eddie Vedder, I might've listened to your argument haha.

I've listened to PJ & didn't really care for it (not saying it's bad b/c it isn't), it's commercialized that sounds more like Alternative Rock. Nah as for SMT's, I don't see the appeal, and that particular song "Creep" sounds very Cobain "inspired."
