After running on an altered-gravity treadmill Friday in further progression from left hip surgery, Jordan Hill will be cleared for basketball activities next week and work to elevate his conditioning to the point where he can return to the Los Angeles Lakers, agent Kevin Bradbury told RealGM. RealGM

Hill was evaluated by his doctor this week to determine the timetable for a return, and he showed he was ready to be cleared for running and jumping drills. All along, the Lakers’ training staff has been impressed with Hill’s progress, diligence and attack in rehabilitating a hip injury that was believed to have ended his season. Once Hill resumes basketball drills in the coming week, it “will just be a matter of basketball shape and when he can go,” Bradbury said. The Lakers said Thursday that Hill would need three to four weeks of on-court workouts to come back, but the 25-year-old forward will remain aggressive to beat that timetable. RealGM

I hope we don't ship him out. This guy and Earl deserve to be Lakers.

He isn't really in danger of that though.

I remember reading before the trading deadline that he is a piece other teams would want in a trade.

They want him, but WE were not shopping him...

He's a cheap player, Lakers are not trading those.

Who do you think gets traded/amnestied/released this offseason?

I wanna keep Hill, Pau, Clark, Howard and Kobe. The rest can go.

Don't see Nash returning till playoffs.. if we get there OR if we need him that last game against Houston.

What has been the biggest disappointment this year? There is a lot to choose from....

1. Mike Brown's "Princeton Offense"
2. D'antoni being hired
3. Injuries in general
4. Dwight's performance
5. Steve Nash's performance
6. Meeks and Jamison addition

For me it has to be D'antoni being hired especially over Phil Jackson. Although Steve Nash and injuries are neck and neck with one another too.

1 Dantoni
2 Injuries
3 Dwights immaturity

Really no specific order, just my 3 pet peeves of this season

Yea injuries is pretty big, I mean half that list can probably be omitted if we were healthy, however for me...

1.D'antoni
2.Injuries
3.Steve Nash
