sure and I think people want to treat this like it's gay or trans rights.
when it very obviously isn't
people want to be compassionate and feel like they are on the right side of history.

when imo it's a concept approximately equivalent to a horoscope sign.

and treating it like some oppressed minority or lumping it in in with trans rights I think is insulting to people suffering with gender dysphoria.


i work in the arts, so i've met a lot of they/thems
90% of them are basically totally conventional heterosexual (usually white) women
so people will have to forgive me if im incredibly sceptical of this entire enterprise.
