Redditor neocitron posted a "crackpot theory" recently, which has made me reexamine what I think I know about Destiny's story. They explain:
I was patrolling around the moon yesterday and was silently stalking Fallen Dregs trying to listen to alien banter. I moved too close and startled one of them, who turned around and gurgled in broken english (kind of how the Grunts in Halo did) "It's the Darkness!" before firing away at me... Wait.
Are. We. The. Darkness?
The more I think about it, the more it makes sense... WHY ELSE would aliens be relentlessly fighting us without much justification? Although I can't explain why the alien factions would be fighting each other. Maybe the Traveler is a weapon and we simply don't know it because we're under its spell? And the alien factions don't trust each other with the Traveler's power?
Damn... This is why I love the open ended narrative Bungie creates, it eventually gets sifted down and sharpened over years of questions and added content to the worlds.
^^^ i love that the story is not given to you like a handout.. left up for interpretation and mystery.

That part where you speak to the Awoken Queen... Is the dialogue different when playing AS an awoken guardian? I'm a human Titan, and i was getting talked down to like ****, i wonder if my character was an awoken if she and the brother would say something different.

Good question, b/c im a robot and her nd her brother was talking crazy to me as well ....then sent me to Mars trying to set me up to get killed, but to no avail, I blasted those fools! ....and would like to go blast the queen and her brother!

Is the raid only available for a specific time? I'm only 16 so I have a ways to go before I hit 26 but would still like to try the raid soon, hopefully this weekend.

Yes at a specific time, just like all the other public events ....im not even mad I'm my level is not higher for the raid, im sure they will be weekly or maybe even daily.

I played the last mission last night and got "the strangers gun" but I didnt see any end credits...how do I get to that point? Did I miss a mission or something?

Nope you did not miss anything, i got that gun too, havent use it yet but I think the gun is kinda special b/c the muzzle glows when its strapped to your back ....there is no end game per Bungie, so that hopefully was not the end.
Also my maps have daily and weekly strike missions that were not there before, they say these missions are oly available after level 20 ....I see these missions, but do anyone who is not level 20 see anything called daily and weekly strike on their maps.

Finally got my first legendary item last night after like 2 hours of farming and it was hunter armor
You can choose to play the credits though if you want from the planet select screen.
Click on that fist holding the lightning bolt in the lower right hand corner.
There are no end game credits cuz the game technically isn't over.

The fact that you can get legendary armor for a different class is so stupid. One of my homeboys was complaining about the exact same thing ....in Borderlands this happens all the time, but at least you can throw it on the ground for the person playing that particular class to get it.
We cant share gear so why would they do this, just makes no sense at all. Bruh farming takes hours to do, then you finally see something yellow and scoop it up to only notice it aint even for your class.

Yup my first blue drop at 20 with light on it was a chest piece for a titan. Put it right in my vault and had already told myself that I was going to make a titan the 2nd time around anyways. That just confirmed it for me, lol
