Because Nike labels them the Air Griffey Max GD II.  Why Nike didn't just label them the VI is beyond me.  I call them the VI.

I may cop.  These could've used more red though.  Thank goodness for red laces.

The og bred is nicer. Had the white midsole and patent leather. Looked like the xi's. Those need to re-release. I remember getting them when they dropped as a kid. Had them before everyone and was killing it. I beat the +%%! out of them too.

I just saw these in person and was suprised at how nice the quality is. I think i am going to pick these up whenever I can get them at a discount. Nike did good on these.

Oddly enough NT automatically blocks out SC's name.. but it's understandable.. just change the symbols to SC's name (one word: s0lecollector) and replace the symbols with it AND the zero (first letter "o" with the actual letter, and you're good to go.

Saw these in person at the store and remembered why I liked em so much back when they first dropped. Just a plain and simple colorway. These and the white ones will be copped. I think they just came out with too many wack variations of this shoe originally (white with the silver back, black/carolina blue, those bred XI inspired ones)

I'll be hyped if the Griffey V's come out too.

I tried these on today just for the hell of it, and at first they were hella stiff around the ankle, the cushioning wasnt too soft either. But the more i walked in them, the better they felt. Im just wondering what would i wear these for if i got a pair. weight lifting???... casual??
