I can remember only one person on this board saying they should have taken KD and that was inmymind and i cant even remember ANY in the meida saying take KDover oden

hindsight is always 20/20 but there was not one team in that draft that would of taken KD over oden. dont care what has happend you always take the big manover the small guy. most times it works just the main 2 times it didnt work Portland got burnt BAD

He would have NEVER been on Larry Brown's good side...look at the Olympic debacle a few years back w. Melo, Lebron, etc....the best guys were on the benchand had inconsistent minutes. Melo is in a GREAT situation in Denver, and had he been a Piston, his career would have gotten off to a ridiculously SLOW start.

Carmello was a rookie, its been said time and time again, larry brown doesn't play rookies,

You're right - the Blazers should have realized the mistake they made, oh... 20+ years ago and said the hell with it.

You give me that pick, I'm taking Oden and not blinking.

As much as the injuries, it has been as frustrating watching him as an offensive player. I thought for sure you get him to improve his footwork and properlyteach him a jump hook...that woulda been all he needed. His hands and touch were good enough. The times I have seen him as a pro, the same problems on that endfrom OSU are still prevalent, and I thought at back then it'd be an easy fix. Guess not.

pretty much...every GM's mindset to draft a big man...i mean hakeem was drafted over mj and that didnt seem like a mistakecause well hakeem became a legend...you cant blame portland for this or any other team for that matter...plus youre comparing durant to mj c'mon durant isgood but not mj good
