Nah rfx45 , Aladdin is rooted deeply in Arabic and Islamic lore/culture. Genie's a loose interpretation of a 'Djinn/Jinn'. Taj Mahal although being in India was constructed by Shah Jahan, one of the Muslim rulers of India during the 16th century. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the OG Aladdin's setting was present day Iraq.
