DJ AM x Nike Dunk put on hold

In mid-June, we relayed the surprising information from Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM's Twitter regarding an upcoming project between himself and Nike.

DJ AM stated:

"This is one of the most amazing moments. I just HELD the sample of MY OWN DUNK! I never dreamed this would happen. Wow, THANK YOU G0D!"

AM was well a very well seasoned sneaker afficianado with some reports stating that he had a Nike collection that exceeded more than 700 pairs.

Today TMZ has reported that the upcoming shoe that wasgoing to be part of and East vs. West Rivalry collection has been put on hold until details are sorted out with the Goldstein family.
 
Yeah, Nike should release this as a tribute shoe to AM. Has anyone seen it yet?
I'd almost buy it regardless, and I don't do Dunks.
 
Hopefully Nike and the Goldsteins get together and sell the kicks and the funds go to help recovering addicts. Would be nice to see them release them on alarger scale than 700 so that they make alot of money instead of resellers making all the money.
 
yea i cant wait to c em... AM was doin the west(dunk) and PRIMO was doin the east(af1):.
 
This is a shoe that is going to be MUCH harder to get ones hands on NOW.

Ill wait and see what they decide to do with it.
