DMP QUESTION: DID JORDAN BRAND RELEASE THE 11'S WITH THE JORDAN LETTERS ON EYELETS?

I SEE SOME DMP'S ON EBAY WITH THE JORDAN LETTERS ON THE EYELETS OF THE 11'S? ARE THESE AUTHENTIC? DID JORDAN BRAND RELEASE SOME PACKS LIKE THESE? HOWWOULD YOU KNOW IF THESE WERE AUTHENTIC. PLANNING TO PURCHASE ONE. THANKS GUYS
 
Yeah some floated around in packs but they are rare. I wish I can find a reasonable price DMP. SMH
 
i would be real careful ive seen lots of fakes of those around on ebay in fact im not sure ive even seen authentic ones with that.
 
how about i sell you my pair of DMP VIs and write on the eyelets for you?

YEA, BUT THERES TOO MANY FAKES THAT CAME OUT LIKE THAT TOO. I THINK IF SUM1 WOULD WEAR THEM EVERYBODY WOULD THINK THEY ARE FAKE EVN TOUGH THEY ARE AUTHENTIC

Anytime i see a pair of DMP's that someones rocking i think they are fake...Kinda why i aint feeling any J's at the moment...XX3's titanum i wouldlike though.
 
How could you even spend the money it will take to get a DMP pack
if you don't already know the answer?

Questions like this, phrased like this, are suspect.
You probably want to auction fakes yourself.
 
most of the dmps with the letters on eyelits r fake so i wouldnt risk buying a pair with them
 
The original DMP XI samples had the lettering but I think they were scrapped cause the letters bled on the mesh.
Like others said, there r some authentics floating around but I would stay away from copping them at all.
The letterless joints r way doper anyways.

nope......they were released to the public like that, then recalled for the letters bleeding.
 
Alife in NYC had a pair and they told me that 200 pair got through to the public before the recall. I liked the story so Icopped them. see 2.25
 
Yo sneakgeekz u gotta admit on the cdp XIs and the OGs the differences are pretty huge on quality and lack of materials

WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU SAYING?? THE REASON FOR THE QUESTION IS THERE ARE A LOT OF DMP'S FLOATING AROUND ON EBAY WITH JORDAN LETTERINGS ON THEEYELETS...I'M NOT PLANNING ON SELLING ONE, I'M BUYING ONE...GO GET A LIFE.....
 
Yeah they're are real ones. out there..They did not release the lettered version ones first. they made the sample and produced a small amount, stopped theproduction because of the defect, changed it back up to the non-lettered version...After the release of the non-lettered version, they decided to ship out andsell the defective ones, about a week after the general release... The only major retailer i know that sold the defective ones, was Champs Sports. I personallybought my pairs there when I worked for Footlocker back then. I bought 3 to be exact, sold two for 1k each to some cats from Japan and kept one for myself...

^^^ here are some photos of a legit pair of GOLD EDITION DMP XI (with JORDAN letters on laceholes). Problem with this is it has quality issuesas mentioned by sneek geekz. The gold letters actually bleed/stain the white mesh and after repeated use, the letters actually come off. Asyou can see in the photo, one of the letters is already missing. This is the reason they scrapped the mass production of these DMP XIs. I'd stick with theregular DMP XIs.
