I'm sure there's not as powerful a union as the Screen Actors Guild for Hollywood actors. They probably get paid by the shot except of course for the"superstars" who might have more elaborate contracts or their own site.

Depends on the star and the contract but they mainly get paid by the scene. The more well-known stars make about $3,500 per scene.

Most of the females performers get paid on a flat fee depending on what kind of scene they are being asked to perform...as you can imagine a simple beej orhandy scene will run you far less then anal or dp. Very few actresses in the industry are popular enough to work everyday most of them eventually resort toescorting or hooking if and when there popularity dwindles. Now their are some girls signed to contracts to exclusively work with certain studious those dealsmay include some sort o bonus system for DVDs sales cut but even then I doubt it.

Male performers it's the same thing, flat rate with depending on the scene they have to perform except there is really no opportunity for contracts unlessyou are exceptional in length or girth but never because of your performing ability. Mandingo, Lex Steele, Nacho Vidal, all have exceptional tools hence whythey get contracts. For male talent their best bet is to move towards the directing side and start producing their own DVDs

Male performers looking to get into the business don't quit your day job unless you really really feel that you can performers, even if you have thephysical requirements you will be in for a rude awakening.

yep, i was chatting on a message board with this pornstar

and thechick says they get paid for scenes. but some contract girls, the really famous ones (jenna haze, bree olson, etc) get some royalties, especially if they arethe featured star.

like someone said earlier, most dudes that think they can be a star are in for a rude awakening. dudes not being able to get up when the bright lights are onpeople watching when they roll tape.
