do u wear shoes inside ur house?

im asian so always shoes off, including guests, friends etc.

but if someone is in there for their job like movers, cable guy, then i dont mind.

here in hawaii, every mover that i've met knows to kick off his shoes before he enters a house whether he's carrying a potted plant or carrying a sofa. the only way around that is if the homeowner tells them beforehand no need to take off their shoes. i had a bunch of new furniture delivered and assembled recently and i told the guys no need for taking off their shoes but when i went into the living room, i see them wearing socks and the shoes are in the apartment hallway
