When I'm leaving I put on my shoes while still in my room.

When I come home I take them off at the front door and carry them.

My outside slippers I just leave at the front door at all times.

If on carpet then no but hard floors yes. So much stuff get caught on your feet and drags when on hard floor. I rock moccasins or slides around the house

Never wear shoes inside. Grew up with white carpet so that was a no-go... and the habit just stuck. Plus it always seemed more cumbersome to wear heavy shoes around the house. I'm trying to relax, lay on my bed or couch and I have my dirty shoes on still?

I tend to get hot easily.. so wearing socks in the house (even with AC) was usually too much for me.. so I usually go barefoot unless it's cold out.
