Snow is NOT pretty to look at.
Give me full bloom over a white blanket all day.
On top of that, all the accidents caused by snow.

I think she was just dumb or senile or something. She followed me into a construction site and I’m watching her do it in my mirror. I stop and she just drove into me at 50 mph.

She got messed up too, she was out of it crying trying to run into traffic because she hit her head. I had to grab her up and make her sit in her car so she didn’t get hit.

Flew up 20 ft in the air landed on his head started agonal breathing I knew it was a wrap.

Seen 3 teens in a stolen car splatter on a Jersey barrier at a job site.

Had guns drawn on me by the police thinking I was stealing the equipment when I just move it at night.

Yeah… that job is not a career.

It’s not a bad job but that company runs you 80 hours a week and just where I was doing it was so chaotic I got sick of it. Moving over sized stuff in tight Minneapolis blocks and road closures on the interstate with cars zooming by at 80 mph gets old.

Not to mention neighbors want to shoot me everywhere I go.

Given the choice between 2 places with all bills and costs of living being perfectly the same, with one of those places having horrible snow every winter, and the other place has horrible traffic all the time, give me traffic.
You can learn to drive in traffic. As long as you drive the speed limit like I do and maintain a safe distance from other drivers like I do and just keep a cool head like I do, traffic isn't a problem.
You can't do anything about snow, though. When it's here, it's here, and you still have to get to work.

Traffic is all day, everyday, but if you know backstreets, you can get from point a to point b quicker than a backed up interstate. I do it all the time in the city during rush hour.

But when snow comes, there is no way around it.

For me...

1. A frustration that is all the time but there's a contingency plan to work around it.
2. A frustration that is only for a few months of the year but there is no way around it, for anybody.

... gimme #1 all the time.

If you prefer snow, no problem.
I hate it, though.
I agree with you that I would rather snow over a place with hurricanes & tornadoes, though.
