All fun and games until the prior generations' programming rears its ugly head, basically. Again, I take out the trash and always have. But when we act like this stuff is no brainers or anything is obvious, that's all we're doing - resting on societal norms from previous generations.

Absolutely man. Like for instance, this new generation gets criticized or talked to about something they did wrong and they damn near collapse into a state of depression. I don't get it.

Taking out the TRASH actually should.
Rolling the trashcan to and from the street after trash day isn't something a man should expect a woman to do. If there is no conversation about it, the assumption is it falls on him.
If she WANTS to do it, more power to her but by default that's on him.
Cleaning the house isn't something I would put into that category. You are correct, if you see something dirty clean it up. Man or Woman.

I simply don't think a discussion needs to be had about that. I don't care if one man looks like Napoleon Dynamite and his woman looks like Liz Cambage; by default HE needs to take out the trash.

All the women I’ve come across are just happy to find a man who can cook and is willing to. Never had any jealousy or issues from a woman when they find out I know how to cook.. that just screams insecure

As for this trash convo, the trash is apart of cleaning the home. If you get home and see the home needs to be cleaned, aka trash is full, clean your home.
