Does Hip Hop have a "that dude" right now?

At some point, theres always been some dude on top of this music business. Is there a clear cut dude on top at the current time?

I mean before this there was lil wayne, then was kanye west, 50 cent, eminem, jay-z and so fourth.... There was always someone putting in mad work. Is thereanyone now on top or is everyone just reaping all the money they've made?

Fiscally, it hasn't really changed. Em, 50, Hov and Diddy are all still the richest.


Buzz-wise, probably Gucci and Drake.

@ topic, No. Hasn't been one clear cut one since Curtis.

I know ppl will come in here and say Drake but he has to deliver sales wise and musically to be seen as the dude on top. Something I doubt he can do.

Personally.. i think drake sometimes lives and dies off of lil wayne; kinda like kid cudi on kanye west. like what im trying to get at is people trying to makethemselves known and not off anyone elses success. Dudes who make their own buzz.
