In my opinon, Wayne has been hot since he came out with the hot boys at 15. He's been putting out hip hop for a real long time and may not as been aspopular as he is now. I hardly listen to the radio, but when i do it seems like he's featured on every song. The dude is a musical genius, but I don'tthink he's the only face of hip hop. I think it's kind of hard to have just one person represent a whole genre of music. He's by far the mostpopular now than ever, I mean little girls are walking around singing lollipop not knowing what it means haha. I think he may wear himself out though with allthese features and it might go back to how it was in the 90's when just hip hop fans listened to him, not the entire world. I really think an artist'salbum determines how hot they are for a certain time period. But ill say kanye ,wayne, jay-z jeezy all make up the face of true hip hop

wayne's a entertainer , i'd have to say there's many faces of hip hop...mainstream has to be the big names like wayne, ye, jay, etc.., newcomersthe face is definitely drake..then when people think of southern hip hop i'll say jeezy, t.i., luda etc.. it's a long list
