Like I said, you're already convinced of something and your 'finding' evidence of it. If you weren't already convinced, then the thought would have already crossed your mind that people edit comments all the time and add things that maybe the people who already repped it don't necessarily agree with. Like, that happens all over the place all the time, and that's what happened there.

But I don’t want it, I didn’t have a choice in being born white. How can I get rid of it? I raised my children to not be prejudiced of anyone different from themselves. I always check any White people that say raci... prejudice things. I volunteer in underprivileged community’s. What am I supposed to do about it?

On a superficial level, u may not be racist, and u being offended by being called one if u aren't is completely understandable. However, in depth u do indeed profit off of racism; which in terms makes u racist. When u volunteer in these underprivileged community’s do u talk to those people like they're people?

i'm hella late to this thread. i'll just say that we all have our "blind" spots when it comes to racial and ethnic awareness so i appreciate when folks are able to spot acts of racism, microaggression, discrimination (that i might not initially be aware of) and call them out. for those who cry out "why does everything have to be about race?" or "it's too political" it's not my or anyone's responsibility to make them feel more comfortable about their unwillingness to hear another's perspective.
