Did they take DonC name branding off of the shoe? I remember when they first dropped and he was getting alot of backlash then he let it slip that he didn't design the shoes, Nike just wanted his name on it.

Yep. It looks like only the first batch of colorways had his name on them. Everything else after that is all nike.

Soooo glad I ended up getting a pair of these for under $100. Leather is ridiculously buttery. I ended up doubling up on a steal for a gently used pair recently, and have been eyeing other colorways for customization experiments.

The low Black/Reds aren't bad. I wanna see in person and if I did purchase they'd have to be on sale, but I'm not mad at these on first look. If they had Nike Air on the back it'd really almost be a sure thing.

I like the low a lot! They have a good look to them. Ideally, they'd put the Don C tags on them but it's not the end of the world.

I actually kind of like these. But I agree. There was no reason for the swoosh to be cut off. Seeing it like that irks me.
