Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Anyone got any tips for crewneck sweaters with tight collars or just longsleeve with tight collars? I can't do the loose collar nonsense.

I'm sure there are plenty of options but my crewneck sweater from Jcrew fits pretty tight around the collar. I often times wear it without a shirt underneath

I don't mess with j crew...

Stuff doesn't fit me good at all and the stuff I've had is Wack quality...

I thought I was the only one.

I walk in and walk right out.

It seems the better stuff is online. My Houston location is pretty small for dudes.

I need to check the other.

Here's my 2 cents:

Whether or not I make it onto the team is fine.

Team needs to be kept at a low level, maybe 10 posters?

Posters need to be regulars who can post up interesting pictures and articles. If we let 100 people post, it will be exactly like this thread but on the Tumblr platform.

Posters need to be somewhat knowledgable to be able to answer questions.

The two members that would be well for the team I think are Adrian and Bama. Given the average age of an nter, Adrian is about to finish college and Bama just got out a couple of years ago.

If this does go through, we need to maintain composure as the floodgate will be opened. I'm sure we will get a lot of troll questions just like there are troll posters here every now and then. We should be like JKissi and his team and focus on the positive aspects.

I like this idea A LOT. and I agree with Adrian that you MUST be part of the group. I am personally thinking:

Wis (career perspective and mid 20s to late 20s perspective)
Adrian (the college perspective)
Carlin (Bama) (like you said a couple years out of school)
UNKNWN (frequent poster with great fits and knowledge)
ksteezy (mid 20s to late 20s and awesome photographer)
RFX (a combination of everything already mentioned plus brings a different style perspective to DB)
And I personally would like to be part of it (career perspective and mid 20s to late 20s perspective)

All this is in addition to the fact that everyone on this list in my opinion, is a frequent poster is knowledgeable and I think we have cover a lot of the regions.

Lastly Wis, I'm going to be in LA from the 16 to the 22nd, want to meet up? The Grove would work for me!

I would love to do a meetup with everyone. New York City meetup to do a look book (like Steezy had mentioned) would be great

Gotta say I'm starting to agree with that. I used to be a big fan, but for the price point I feel there are a lot better options in terms of quality. And the fit on a lot of their stuff isn't great. However, I do have a few things from them I love and wear all the time. And some of their stuff is definitely worth it to me when they have big discounts.

Try American Apparel my man, their crewnecks aren't loose at all but they're not super tight either. Good price as well :)

There's several different types on this page: http://store.americanapparel.net/subCategory/index.jsp?subCatId=cat33174

@SirDilbert, the sleeves on that shirt are definitely short. They're not ridiculously short but short enough to tell that they need to be longer... if that makes sense. :lol

I'm thinking of copping this reversible Nylon Bomber Jacket by Alexander Wang: http://www.lagarconne.com/store/item.htm?itemid=18414#. Thoughts?

Ignore the female model, I confirmed that it's a unisex jacket :p

I like that bomber, but even though it's by the diffusion line...still kinda pricey for what it is.

Been lurking in this thread for a while.. trying to step up my game, picked these up today (apologies for the crappy iphone pic). Can't seem to find a pair of leather Clark's that don't come scuffed

Seem like a young crowd...But, what about those that are older mid 30's to 40's....

Style are different when it comes to age brackets.
