45 PMs before 12AM PST.Banana Republic F&F this weekend. Have a lot of spots left on my email list. Anybody want one, shoot me a PM.
(I'll post a fit one of these days...)
Just looked at the second pair of dalton boots nordstrom sent me. Looks like they've been worn already. A few scratches on the upper and soles. Both heels look like a corner was cut off. A dent in one of the toes. Definitely sending these back too. Any other brand that makes walnut colored wingtip boots that look as good with better quality and rubber soles?

They're doing better. Saw some shoes and boots at BR, they look great but pricey for what they are. Maybe the 2 for $250 AEs spoiled it. Lol.
They use an array of makers such as Alden, C and J, and as you mentioned AS.You can try Brooks Brothers house brand. Peal & Co. I think they are made by Alfred Sargeant. When I checked yesterday they had a pair of dark brown wingtips on sale for 300.

Sorry if you've addressed this already, but info on the chukka boots? Been looking for a dressier pair than regular Clark's. About to invest in a pair of Carminas or Aldens but would love to hear other opinions. Thanks.
So I need a suit by Thursday, and I checked J. Crew's website, and all I can say is :x .
For a college student on a budget, are there cheaper alternatives with similar or almost similar quality?
Similar quality no. But H & M, Zara, Uniqlo, Macy's, or JCP would probably be your best bet. You could also go to a thrift store and you may be able to find quality for cheap.
JCrew offers extra 40% off then increases the prices on their items.
I swear the same shirts I bought a few months ago are up $10-$15 to compensate for the extra discount they are offering.
Looks like I'm headed to H&M then.
HM suits are generally really bad quality. Not comparable to Jcrew in that regard. Zara has better quality IMO. They are more expensive than HM but not by thaat much. HM has diff "lines" not all stores carry their higher end line which is ok..but costs about as much as Zara does. U can get a decent suit from Zara for like 300 if u are in a hurry.
