Edit: smh, nevermind, i see it now online. So now my question is, wth is it for?
I just got the same coat a couple weeks ago, I think its used to clamp down the collar to the other side when you want to flip the collar up around your neck....the collar is a little flimsy when its up and I noticed theres another latch on the other side that it hooks into..

A lot of J. Crew routinely goes on clearance fairly quickly. By December of last year, I was able to get the University Coat with thinsulate for around 130. Check the stores in a couple of weeks.

uniqlo. if you're in nyc tho...

^Don't know how I feel about that fit. Would've gone for a different tie for sure. And the red seems extremely bright. Also perhaps gets the pants hemmed. Anyone to chime in for black pants with brown shoes? I was never a fan personally. I would've done navy.

Edit - I realize why the cardigan looks so strange to me, the buttons are the exact same color. Needs some contrast.

I just bought a dark blue tweed  blazer, what color tie would go best with it ? to be matched with a white shirt

+1... the shoes and tie wreck the fit.

have fun with patterns and textures since its tweed, a nice pattern will coordinate, dosen't necessarily have to be red.. green or brown and a few other colors would work. i wouldn't go with a plain tie though.

The pants and watch looks ill fitting. Goatee is out of control.

A few questions, I have a black leather jacket, I was wondering would navy pants go well with it?

Got a friends birthday night out this Saturday, I had the intentions of wearing my black leather jacket, a t shirt, some navy slacks and brown wingtip shoes.

Also what leg opening number is good for dress shoes? Would 7" be okay?

Any brands of jeans people can recommend for those of us with enormous legs? I'm about a 32 in the waste, but that size fits uncomfortably and bigger sizes look silly.

I hate to say it, but I think it may be time to start a new thread...it's an absolute mess trying to get to the most recent posts every single time

out of control was the look I was going for. and since there were two occasions that nite that girls came up to me asking to touch it, leading to brief convos and exchange of info, i think it was quite a successful nite
