Back to the Clarks DB can't decide between Gray Suede and Black Suede. I'm mostly going to be wearing them with jeans.. I would buy both but I don't have the cash.

I would definitely go with the gray suede one...stand out more than the black plus they won't show dust like the black ones would.

True with jeans and chinos, some people prefer them with breaks. Personally, with jeans I prefer the inseam to be 32-32.5'' so I can cuff a bit if I want to and has a bit of breaking. Other trousers are 30.5'' for me to achieve a cleaner look.
