Ty, nice sperrys. Great shot as always.

That color goes really well with your skin tone (yea that sounds a little weird...) That's something I've been trying to visualize more when I buy nicer clothes. Not every color goes with every skin tone. I don't think my light brown Indian skin tone would work well with those sperrys.

Am I right or wrong here?

no disrespect, I cannot understand what you wrote.  It is 2 questions and 2 sentences in one run-on.

There's over 950 pages that should help you answer your question.

Wore this today.  I'm not showing the jeans, cuz I don't like them that much.  I'm having trouble finding good jeans, I'm pretty wide in the hips/thigh area, so a lot of them have been looking a bit off.

I have the same problem, my solution was to just get them tailored.

Looks like we have another Tito516

General question about tailoring.  Can I just bring all my slacks (like 5-8 pairs) to a tailor and say something to the effect of "Could you make these all fit properly with regard to slimness and length?"

You could, but you'll probably want to define what "proper fit" is. He could be old school and cut them wider than you want.

Your best bet is to try them on and have him pin them to see how you like them.

Pretty much but I would try it with one pair first to see how good your tailor is. It is easy to hem the pants and taper the bottom, it shouldn't cost too much and almost any tailor can do it but if it has to be adjusted in the seat, waist and all the way through from the thigh down, it might be really costly. Bring in the pants that fit you well in the waist and isn't too baggy in the thigh area and go from there. The tailor should let you try them on and pin them in front of a full length mirror so you could see how the end product would look and decide from then on how you want them to fit.
