I personally prefer JP's, they look better and are more comfortable.

I am leaning more towards JP's anyways. Converse seem to be on another level that doesn't really go with what I'm going for. If that makes sense.

Kstezzy - airmax are always a must with certain outfits i say. That scarf will need an RIP after these holidays.

Jack Purcells are made by Converse.

"If that makes sense" - I guess it didn't make sense to you. Nvm i won't try to explain. thanks tho
Generaiya just laughed out loud. You are wrong and Scars is right

That is all.

What I was getting at not who makes them but that fact that almost everyone has Converse on their feet instead of JPs. Converse, in my mind, gives off a young vibe as oppose to JP. If that doesn't make sense of where i was getting at then really nevermind

Everyone brings their own style to the table.  There's always WDYWT or the Jordan WDYWT.

Nice try though. That link was at least 3 years old when I was flipping what the beasts wanted.

Thanks for reminding me that it was even there.

While 98% of the stuff in this thread makes me cringe, it's more about broadening horizons, deals etc, which is why I still check the thread.

Obviously dudes on SuFu are more steezed out, but they've been doing it a lot longer. Most of NT is still learning.

Hmmmm, merely an observation here, but most of what you've just mentioned is considered to be currently stylish.  Personally I appreciate when someone cares enough about being current in one way or another and consider most of those folks "better dressed" than I am.  I appreciate a lot of these folks for turning me on to really worthwhile deals and making solid suggestions.

I admit, it's frustrating when you can't afford to play, but dang man why sit on the sidelines and complain like you're bringing anything to the thread?
Plus, you can make a lot of looks work without spending a ton of cash, as I've complimented folks on doing as well.  For the most part, you're right...Being current means spending more money, for the most part, since what's sensible at the time goes on sale less, and is more sought over.

I think it's pretty funny though that you've managed to hate on everyone from the hipster to the business man here...Not really sure what you had in mind as far as what "dressing better" is.

That said, ty, im not knockin your swagger..dude has been creative with his stuff for years...most definitely give him that

Not angry at all, just explaining my auctions.

And I did sell a lot of stuff to the kids that had a thirst for that stuff a few years ago, no shame in that game.

It seems like I upset a bunch of you, must have touched a nerve.

Carry on, I was just making an observation.

Generaiya thinks you should post an outfit of your own, since you can teach us so much on how to dress better

You weren't making an observation...  You were voicing your opinions in a matter that you knew would ruffle feathers

You'd have been better starting your own post hating on this thread titled "People who think they're dressing better vol. yes, im mad..."
embarassed.gif

Instead you follow this thread for enough time to do your best at taking shots at what folks in here are doing...  Well done sir.

I don't get upset at message board responses.  Fear not, you did not deter me from what I'm doing...I just know an over the hill hypebeast who isn't living that life anymore when I see one.

Dressing cheap does not mean dressing "better"

See how that works?

In the end, dressing better is subjective really but there are still some guidelines that can help. Just because you buy a suit doesn't mean you are dressing better, it has to fit right, not SteveHarvey-like suits. Suits doesn't have to be expensive, just follow Nii's guide to buying good quality suits for cheap.

I honestly don't even know the recent talks of "glad to see inexpensive/good deals on clothes"  in here, the thread has been partly about that, savings on clothes. Sure people post runway or lookbooks from designers that may not be affordable but those are just used as reference and not many here posts their expensive designer purchases. Most things that are posted are deals on clothes and shoes.

I don't know how you can say most of the clothes here make you cringe and think SuFu is so much better. At least it tends to be on the safer side here, somewhat a middle ground, while they are mostly on the extreme over there. Goth ninja and workwear dominate that place.
Not to mention that if your jeans aren't raw and have been washed in the past 6 months, you ain't doing it right over there. If you have a scarf that looks like and functions like a scarf, you ain't sylin over there.
