Duke Freshman Student Leads Double Life As Porn Star

Explain, if you don't mind, because I really don't get it.

It's not just the act of penetration, it's the totality of most sexual circumstances, Idk how you guys have sex, but there is not question about who is in control when I have sex, even when a girl tied me up I was still in control, I could always tell her what to do.

So what about the girls who don't say yes? Are they in control? or do they not exists?

The level of control one has in letting someone in their house compared to the level of control one has of letting someone in their body is vastly different, enough that the metaphor doesn't make sense when applied to sex.

Yes, women have power in other situations, I've said that, in fact I said "feminism makes sense in so many areas, but sex presents a problem to the philosophy"

A women, laying on her back, is that a good example of feminism?

I'm sure you're missing my point. I'll say this simply and plainly.

Talk all that "womens liberation" in the streets, but when a girl is getting dogged out, about to swallow some kids, she's not being the poster child for feminism.

Feminism has definite limits to it's applicability, sex is that limit.

When girls don't say yes, that's rape, which can be examined on a case to case basis.

Rape can be a method of controlling a woman or exerting dominance.

Consensual sex doesn't really have a "I'm in control" connotation unless its implied through verbiage or unconventional means such as bondage.

Do you watch a lot of pornography?

Up here in Canada tuition is only 10k per year max and that's if your doing an expensive program like engineering

But how is the type of sex they like contradictory to the feminist movement? I think the problem is men tend to view everything to how it relates with what they like.

If anything chicks getting it in how, when, and with who they want i empowering. Just because some men think it's degrading doesn't mean anything.  Feminism is about chicks being empowered to do what they want and to be proud of it.

Just cuz she wants you to blow her back out doesn't mean she's beneath you (figuratively.)  That's just how she likes it.
Unless I completely misunderstand feminism, it's saying "I am a women, and I am just as powerful/strong as men" then when you get home you get bent over the couch,, completely bending to the will of another. Now, there is a different statement for those "dominatrix" chicks, as they do have the power in those situations.

So much of sex is about power, control, submitting etc. Sorry, you may disagree, but I've had sex, with a lot of different girls, and I can tell you, I'm in control in all those situations, so if you telling me about how empowered you are, shut up and take this D garl. Less to do with enjoyment, and more to do with the physical aspects of having sex. Feminism  is where philosophy meets physiology.
I mean... unless you're gay or into pegging, anatomy wise most of the time men will be in the "dominant" position sexually.  That doesn't mean you should be reading anything socially or politically from it though
laugh.gif
(back back back in he day -- think dark ages -- this was one of the reasons homosexuality was despised.  Cuz men who are supposed to be strong and only hitting it in the dominant missionary position were submitting to get penetrated by the sword of others like a woman or a dog.  It was considered "unmasculine" and therefore inferior and repulsive. WAYYYYY before religion even came into play with anti-gay/homophobia #themoreyouknow)

So a girl likes getting it a certain way and it says something about how she views herself in relation to men and the grand scheme of life?  Lots of girls like it from the back with a dude being aggressive, same way a lot of dudes like it with their girl on top riding them (in a mor dominant position.)

It has nothing to do with feminism other than women getting what they want and being happy and not having to compromise just because of some social or male driven stigma being imposed on them.

I don't think you understand feminism.

Feminism is largely concerned with establishing and protecting the "rights" of women. With respect to this conversation, that would be the right to explore one's sexuality whichever way that befits them, and/or the right to have and engage in consensual sex with whomever. Thus, a woman who voluntarily participates in hardcore porn is merely exercising her rights as a being who claims and maintains complete discretion over her body. What she does with her body is her choice and her right; this is (arguably) the single most important premise of feminist theory.

The nuances of sex escape you because you're a man who benefits in the hegemony of patriarchy, and understandably so, you've never had to consider things from the role of the "submissive" partner. It's no surprise then, that you believe so much of sex is about power and control. That's all you see because that's what you've been taught. That's the patriarchal influence talkin'.

Sex in any healthy relationship is about compromise and respect--respect of mind, and of body. That's where the feminist theory comes into play.

It (feminism) informs women of their power over their bodies. That's it's ok to say "NO!"; that you don't have to "shut up and take this D" if you don't want to. The point is, sex is an enterprise that asks of all parties involved to mutually accept--CONSENT TO--the terms and conditions of engagement. Thus, a woman is well within her right to refuse sex with her bf if she doesn't agree to the terms and conditions, for whatever reason. Just as well, she has the right to headline ghetto gaggers if she wants to consent to that sort of thing. It's her right as a woman; it's her right as a human being. Respect it.

...
word up.

Brah tution rates in this country vary a lot. Duke is at the every high end with it being a prestigious private university

In state tuition at a state university would usually be around anywhere from 9-14K a year.

Yea I get that but 60k per year is ridiculous even for a prestigious school. An elite university in Canada like University of Toronto only costs 7-10k per year and is ranked even higher than Duke.

-The school you listed is a public university though. And Duke is private.

-Plus Duke charges that because they know they can fill the sits with kids who can pay that. Either pay rich parents or with scholarships and aid

-Toronto and always ranked a few spots a ahead Duke, I'll give you that. But Cal Berkeley which is almost always ranked way ahead of Toronto and one of the top universities in the world charges under 13K for a year. And that is in Cali which had higher public school tuition.

-I think you were going for a "lolz, Canada has better system" moment, which might be true overall. But ignores a lot of facts

Oh my bad, never knew that. I def wasnt trying to say Canada has a superior system, I was just wondering why there was such a huge difference in tuition rates but never knew Duke was a private institution.

Girls don't do porn to pay for school. The do porn because the want to do porn.

My mother lives across the street from a Male Performer who is on a popular website. Dude is a cornball, but not bad to chop it up with him when I visit my mother occasionally. Point is that, he has told me stories on how the industry treats women, especially new younger female talent. The girls know what they are getting into.

My point exactly. Porn/sex is where feminism reaches its limits. Idealistically, I guess...but in reality, when your sitting there getting your back blown out by three dudes..is that the poster of feminism? Keep it to the boardroom and voting booth, just like damn near every other civil rights issue ('feminism' is a civil rights issue).

You can't stop people from 'forming an opinion on you based on your habits' or...judging as it is known colloquially. Don't quote Susan B Anthony right before I leave a large daycare on your face...not the proper time/place.

I don't really understand why this is being argued...your daughter walks in and says 'my teacher said feminism means I can blow as many dudes as I want because it's my choice' your going to have a talk with that teacher.

Believe it or not, a lot of feminists describe themselves as "sex positive" feminists. Meaning they proclaim to be a sex worker was freely chosen and as a 1st Amendment right. Sort of what @SuperAntigen was alluding to. I think performers such as Nina Hartley, Pinky, and Sasha Grey are a good representation of that a bring some entrepreneurship that better represents women.

Probably no one noticed because you were talking about rape and hurting people.

Yeah well that point is lost when the only time 99% of people care about them is when they're tugging on their penis trying to get a nut. It's a technically sound theory until real life gets involved. But hey more power to them

Most people who will interview you here have never heard of the University of Toronto or care less about it.
