Hmmm i haven’t even listened to em’s new album and I’m not particularly a fan of his but I may be the only one who slightly cringed on mgk’s response. Again, I have no context of this beef and just dived in on listening to mgk’s response.
He brought the facts, but idk if the delivery was there. But hey I might just have a different taste in how disses are delivered, and IMO this just sounded like he got info wrote it on paper and rehearsed. Very straight to the point in fast fashion. Interested in what happens next....

Well I’m more into disses that are metaphorical, call it subliminal if you’d like. IMO those are more creative since there’s more thought out in to the line and there’s various ways to interpret them. But that’s just me.
I just feel like direct disses with name drops are very hard to pull off unless it’s a call for action or like high stake beefs between titans.
I just heard em’s initial response, and I’m not a fan of that either. I definitely stepped outta my lane putting a few cents into music I don’t even listen to lol. I’ll see myself out.

Em has been mediocre to trash for the past 15 years but as a member of the white delegation, I'm going to have to request to remove Em from the trading block off the strength of Lucky You alone.

I love how serious people take music some times. I will always listen to an eminem album. Dudes lyrical ability is always top tier. Yes, his songs are lacking these days, yes his bars can be corny, but there isn't any rapper out that can piece syllables together the way em can. I listen, i enjoy, and i move on with my life.

LOL his production was decent up until Encore where it seemed he had a steep drop off in quality. Still can't believe he produced Warrior pt2. That joint still knocks.
