In my opinion, the trauma sustained to already shocked body (bleeding), would prevent it. Flashbangs are no fun at all man. Deaf and blind immediately, if thrown in immediate location, instincts are to cover ears. Would take balls of steel and a high pain threshold to get hit with a couple and still press, if he was about that life.
