Not much of a 'switch'... Daniel made good progress on his Hards and worked his way up. Lando had to box to get rid of his Softs and the SC was the perfect opportunity to do it. Just the unfortunate red flag that screwed him over. Ugh. I'm so annoyed.

even with all this hoopla, Lewis can still definitely take the lead at the restart
based on how he pulled away at the start of the race
