Fast and Furious 6 - May 24th $317 Million Worldwide Opening WOWZERS

i lost it when Vin did that OD tackle on the bridge
The whole crowd basically said "come on" when that happened :lol

Man, I said the same thing to my girl...I was hoping he would throw in something for his fans and get a laugh from it...i was expecting a spit to his hand or the rock bottom :lol

How did hangover 3 do opening night?
Going to see part 3 tomorrow :lol

I always loved Supras, I swear that movie killed my dream because everyone wanted one then
It was a wild time. During the early to mid 2000, you had a lot of nice cars in the 25 to 35k range....Rsx type S, RX8,G35, 350Z, Sti, Evo and S2k. I was scared to bring my Evo to see TD because police would inspect random cars after showings :lol

This guy had a Supra with a super loud HKS SSQV Bov in undergrad, had all the guys double taking :lol

Watched an interview on Youtube, with Justin Lin, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker a couple days ago.
I tried looking for the vid again but can't find it.
But a few things I remembered:

- Once the FF6 world press junket tour is over, Justin Lin will be working closely with James Wan on the story for 7, maybe even beyond :lol.
- Everything that has happened up until this point was somewhat pre-meditated since he started working on Tokyo Drift
- Paul Walker says shooting starts in September this year.
- Vin Diesels says 7 will start off in LA, then a bit in Tokyo, then off to the Middle East.

Extra tidbit, not from the interviews:

- Statham was originally set to play Owen Shaw, then there were reports that he backed out. Turns out he decided take a bigger role for FF7 as Ian Shaw, Owens older brother, who was aforementioned to Dom.

I actually liked Luke Evans as the villian, he actually schemed and did some dirty work. Appreciated.

And after seeing a handful of James Wans flicks, Death Sentence became a favorite of mine, I'm excited with what he does with the story, maybe make it more intimate, less broad in terms of plot. Maybe have Statham try to pick off the crew one-by-one? 8o. I wonder what he'll be capable of with a $100 million+ budget.

this franchise stay being a cash cow for Universal. Ain't no stopping it. For sure pockets ain't empty cuz.

I seriously think Uni will come up with a way to expand into a themed F&F part at their parks. Imagine virtual pink slip races or something. :eek :lol Tuner themed nightclub. :evil

I watched Tokyo Drift again today. It sucks, but I like it :lol Still kinda iffy on Han's crash scene and putting Statham's cameo and Sean running up to the car together but I'll suspend belief. I guess we know how Han got his money, and what he meant by Tokyo as his " Mexico" now.

oooo my bad. Got me thinking I missed the quick cameo or something. :lol

Keeley was the brightspot of TD :hat

Now that ja rule is outta jail maybe he can make

A cameo since they're going back to LA....
Isn't be back in? I heard on XM that he was out for like 3 days and got sent back in for not paying his taxes.

I was talking to my friends about where in the world the franchise's been and Middle East and Africa should be coming up real soon.

I fully expected when Dom saved Letty and she hit the car she was gonna get her memory back lol

I'm glad they kept it as she has the Letty heart but is kinda fresh and new

The Tokyo scene had everyone hype for the next one.was there anything after the actual credits?
I never paid attention to the F&F 6 posters. I always thought it was just one with Diesel and his car with the caption "all roads lead to this one" or something like that. I was at a red light today and saw a wall that had all of them lined up. One of which was Han in the widebody RX7 used in TD. I'm geeked up too! Gonna go buy a tuner whip tomorrow now.

They seriously lucked out with how everything fits in though :lol

They've been showing TD on cable TV lately and I catch parts here and there. There's a part where Han said "life is simple, make choices, and don't look back". That kinda ties into why he wanted to move to Tokyo after his girl died from Fast and Furious 6 :lol
