These movies still entertain, but I’m not nearly as deep into it as I once was. Still feel it should’ve been over after 7. 3 movies later and it still doesn’t feel right without Paul/Brian.

I didn’t care for how they wrote his character off. Makes no sense that he’s out of the “life” but Mia comes back and she’s in it. I get that it’s her and doms brother in the last film but we’re supposed to believe Brian’s at home with the kids while she’s out rolling with the crew?
As much as I like her as a character, if they’re going to go the route of Brian staying out of it for the safety of their family then she needs to be gone too

Tokyo Drift was a perfect product of it's time. Drifting culture, while very niche, was still pretty popular when this movie was made.

Yeah, it's a 2-part movie. Believe I read they were going to break up the last movie into 2 for more $$$$
