That's how it used to work. I worked in retail for years. Plus size clothing was always more expensive. From a business perspective it makes no sense to price clothing that way

The reason these retail prices dont fluctuate is a sz 0 costs Lulu 5 bucks to make, and a sz 18, 8 bucks. They all sell for the inflated $98 across the board because you pay for that brand!
