VATS ruined Fallout 3 for me. It really is the cheapest copout ever. About to die? Just use VATS and become a killing machine. Especially if you have any of the energy weapons. I admittedly used VATS way too much when I played 3 the first time and it ruined the story for me. The story was good, but I didnt have any emotional investment in the characters, OoT did that for me though. I cared what happened to people, I was sad as hell when the Great Deku Tree died, when Link went back to Kikori Forest.... Man

. I was like 8 when that game came out and I've probably played it 40 times since then, and it still feels the same. That music too, no song in a video game is ever touching this
