I remember back in '97 i had the first royal blue joints were 180 retail, the most i had ever paid for shoes back them. I washed a lot of dishes and cut a lot of grass for that haha. But factor in inflation and all the other crap. Its about right for the price. Of course it didnt cost nike that much to make.

IT IS NOT INFLATION.
You are not buying the same product that released in 1997. The are using cheaper material, with cheaper relative labor, and the cost per pair to produce one shoe has shrunk. They made up the money they have lost on inflation, margins are much better
The fact the raised the price just because they added a "PRM" tag to Foams should be a dead giveaway it in not inflation.

I like the shoe it self but those stars just kill the the shoe to me, it makes them look cheap IMO... With that being said if i see a sz 11 and i have the means, ill probably buy them
