When does nike just cash out and put foams up for id
I have to slightly disagree with you on that one. Last month ( or November ) nike put the Chuck Posite up on ID for a limited time. And that shoe is constructed fully with posite material. In that regard I don't think it's a production issue.Take this for what you will, but i was recently is new jerk sleazy (smaller city than i expected) and asked a nike id employer at niketown and was given a "no time soon" response to that very question.
One must also consider how costly it must be to be able to paint all those various foam molds, seeing as how foams are certainly one of (if not the most) expensive shoes for nike to produce.
Also there arent all that many pieces to that shoe to color in comparison to say a spiz'ike.
My guess is it nevrr happens, unfortunately
they dont wanna do it because Nike fears that we will make better foams than they would...

Make no mistake about it , foamposites will always sell. Maybe not as fast as they used to or as frequently as they are released. But regardless of the color they will sell. Nike is still making over 100% profit on foams even when they hit the outlets.

and im fine with paying outlet prices for foams anyday.. but 250 and 275 is *Ape foreal...

Very true in fact nike makes more off whats sold at the outlets then in full priced stores.
Since 85 % of outlet product has already been paid for.
I nike did good with the weathermans tampons spiderman and asteroid foams
You see people who paid at box or way under fir them
the only people who didn't do good on these foams are the mom and pop retail stores paying 55 percent of 250 and i know a few stores that are still stuck with them
cosign.. Concords tampons.. Silver Camo's Knicks.. Weathermans... we all could try on in the store..foams dont always sell well. thats a bad misconception.
Weathermans sold well its just that nike flooded the market with them.

One could make a case for the Concords , seeing as how they are still on the shelves at the outlets. But all the Thermals ( I don't like referring to them as tampons ) sold out once they hit the outlets ( I was present at the new Orleans outlets when they put them out on the shelves and I called the next day and all they had were 2 pairs left ) , the weathermans sold out quickly , the silvers camo's sold out at the outlets , the asteroids sold out , the safari's sold out, and i'm more than sure the knicks and volts will sell out as well.

weathermans sold out on the leg of people trying to make cash off of the After-galaxy Hype

@bigj505 i know from you mentioning the tamp's.. i got those for 100 bucks.. great deal..your statement has a huge astericks. they did not sell out instantly... they sold out once the price got to that good number and i personally know a lot of them get purchased by bulk buyers.
But they still sold. And nike will continue to make money off foams. But that goes back to my original point that foams regardless of undesirable CW's they will sell. Be it bulk buyers , campers , outlet shoppers ( like myself ).your statement has a huge astericks. they did not sell out instantly... they sold out once the price got to that good number and i personally know a lot of them get purchased by bulk buyers.
