Bingo.. I wasn't gonna say anything. I just prepaid both my kids college tuition and put 18k into a 529. Feels good man...Looking to buy a second house now.
The kids foams are a much better investment than the 2nd home. I say go all in. $250k worth now will just skyrocket in value in a decade. Let us know how it goes.

And this is what this "community/game" has come to.
Did I say the military paid for kids college tuition? Are you military? Do you know my savings plans and TSPs? My retirement? My GI Bill?
Do you know what I was referring to?

Like I said, thanks for your concern.

We are on a shoe forum. Dude says he gets his kids foams and automatically gets profiled.

That's just ignorant right there.

You can buy yourself $200+ shoes but have your kids dressing like poverty right?

Many shoe head parents dress their kids with nice shoes too. I am one of them.

I am also from the school of thought that I will teach my kids how to make money instead of just giving it to them. Different strokes.

Amen, my parents always said I won't be out in the streets in designer gear and having you looking a mess.  That being said I don't go overboard buying my two kids shoes because they grow out them too quickly.  I just make sure they have a few pairs to match there outfits.

I think its ignorant that unless you buy ya kids 200.00 shoes you are dressing them in poverty. Nothing wrong with Carters etc. and nothing wrong with lacing them up tight.

Man wheres the love fellas? I know what would make everyone feel better... finding me some chromeposites for retail :D

And it's ignorant that you didn't read the whole convo then added your 2 cents. Last time I checked, toddler and infant foams were less than 1/2 of $200.

Maybe you should take into context the chastising coordinate was receiving before you reply to what I said.

They were scorning him like it was wrong for him to spend money on his kid while assuming he wasn't addressinf his kids future in the mean time.

Tell me how that's right to do so. To assume another mans finances just because of what he purchases his child.

Soooooooo March 14th is right around the corner. Anyone excited for those Gold Foams?!?!

Saw these fruity pebbles in hand. The upper is more pearl than white. Well to me the upper looks pearl. Not like the whiteouts. Pics are kinda misleading.

I read it and was only replying to your statement which alluded to people buying themselves 200 dollar shoes but dressing their kids in poverty. U assumed because members weren't buying "100.00" sneakers they were dressing their babies and toddlers in poverty which is just as ignorant. You profiled the profilers.

If/when I have kids, their shoes are coming from Payless when they're on sale. No way in hell I'm paying 50+ for their shoes to have them grow out of them in a few months.

^^^ way to completely miss the point. Kudos

Took me a couple times to wrap my head around it too J. Maybe it was the wording. Basically u said nothing wrong with parents goin cheap or expensive on their kids shoes. Neither should be profiled.

I agree. Pearl with a fruit bottom... I also noticed how "flimsy" the foam material is. Unlike the GS Ye's, these are not worth $180... Or even the PS $100.

hell let me add.. some Pan's for retail at theat.. which were $0..

Thats cool but dont some of those cheaper shoes mess your kids foot up in the long run?

Finally got my Chromeposite's in.  Really liked the way they turned out.  My only minor complaint is that there are a couple of spots where there appear to be "dimples" in the foamposite.  Anyone have these on their pair and does this occur on other foamposites or just the chromeposites?  It doesn't bother me too much because they're not noticeable on foot.
